Corona Island is an absolute paradise! 🌴 A beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters and white sand, surrounded by mangroves and exotic wildlife, including the cutest little monkeys. 🐒 The entire staff provided excellent service, the meals were included, and the food was absolutely delicious. There’s also a beautiful snorkeling area where you can see lots of colorful fish. 🐠 The cabins were super comfortable, making the whole experience truly wonderful. I hope I can come back soon! ❤️ Highly recommended!

Sophia Hotel stands out as an excellent choice for anyone visiting Cartagena, Colombia, offering the rare combination of being right in the middle of everything while still feeling worlds away from the noise. Tucked into the Walled City, it sits within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars, and the area's major attractions, making it effortless to explore on foot. The setting strikes a wonderful balance: close enough to the festive energy of the city to enjoy the nightlife whenever you want it, yet quiet and calm enough to serve as a genuine retreat when you return each evening. Check-in set the tone for the whole stay. Karen, who handled it, made the process quick and efficient, getting me settled in without delay and with a warmth that made a great first impression right from the start. The rooms match that same sense of comfort. Spacious and well-appointed, mine featured a comfortable bed with excellent pillows, a small L-shaped couch, a compact desk, a generous bureau and closet, a personal safe, and a mini-bar refrigerator. The bathroom takes a slightly unconventional approach — the sink sits out in the open part of the room, while the toilet and a large stand-up shower are enclosed separately — but the layout works surprisingly well in practice. The towels deserve special mention: thick, soft, and oversized, they were good enough that I found myself wanting to know where to buy a set for home.
